Green roofing offers a proven, cost-effective and attractive method to reduce storm-water runoff that can be applied from row-house to warehouse. There is no job too big or too small for D.C. Greenworks! Here is just a sampling of successful projects we have built:
April 2008 - Silver Spring Residence, MD - The 300 square foot built-up rooftop creates a great extension to the home by forming around the residence's chimney and skylight. Click to view more photos!
August 2007 - Wallach Place NW Residence, D.C. - This 370 square foot rooftop was built as an extension for the residence. It includes an herb garden and is a perfect of example of space usage in a limited area. September 2007 - Pope's Branch Rain Gardens, D.C. - These four rain gardens transformed parkland and parking lot into an oasis of green. The gardens also serve as a training tool for the Department of Parks and Recreation employees, as well as the residents around Pope's Branch Park.
