D.C. TreeKeepers are members of an ever-growing, select group of D.C. residents who care deeply about their trees and their communities. D.C. Greenworks works with local TreeKeepers to ensure their trees continue to bring beauty and value to their neighborhood for years to come. As a D.C. TreeKeeper Community, you and your neighbors will receive the counsel and support you need for a successful tree adoption.

We offer TWO levels of membership:

Household Membership
D.C. TreeKeepers are individuals or households who agree to take care of at least one street tree on their block for one year.

Community Membership
TreeKeeper Communities are seven or more TreeKeeper Households on a block who agree to care for all of the street trees on your block for one year, and this block-wide commitment makes you eligible to receive additional member benefits, including treecare workshops in your neighborhood.
